Solo Cyber Shopping vs. Social Cyber Shopping – Which one suits you?

Hello Everyone:
–
Cyber Monday (Home Alone) was yesterday November 28th and allows one to shop from the comforts their warm home or during their breaks at their workplace.
–
–
–

–

–
Note:  You can now shop on-line for door busters starting as early as Thanksgiving Day morning–all from the comfort of your home vs. standing in a dark parking lot wet and shivering prior to the doors opening on Black Friday.
–
See NCM Blog below “Comedienne Karen Alloy’s Black Friday experience will leave you laughing”.
–
By now people are aware of what to look for regarding on-line security. When in doubt, use your Pay Pal account or a prepaid card that you have transferred money onto for the purpose of shopping on-line.
–
–

The host may prefer to have cookies and hot chocolate instead.  For those that like to bake there’s a recipe for Pumpkin Pie in the White House Holiday Tour Book 2015.  (see PDF file attachment at end of email)
Put on some holiday music and your Cyber shopping socials eliminates the negative elements of Black Friday and that home alone feeling of Cyber Monday. Instead Cyber shopping socials shines a light on the positive elements of Small Business Saturday mingling and sharing with people.

Meijer Launches Home Delivery Service In Metro Detroit – WWJ News

Hello Everyone:

–

Well, well…it’s about time this service has come to Detroit Metro area.
–
I have been looking for a grocery shopping / delivery service that delivered more than just canned or non-perishable foods.
–
What a relief to be able to order vegetables, fruits, meats, ice cream, milk, frozen foods, deli foods, etc. in addition to household supplies like paper towel dish washer soap and personal care items like cotton swabs and lotion,
–
In my research; some services would shop for you; bu,t you had to still go and pick it up at their store curbside window and others you can to pre-order a least a day in advance.

 –
 –
For a low annual membership fee of $99, Shipt customersget unlimited groceries delivered to their home without paying a delivery fee (for orders over $35.)
–
Delivery can be as soon as 1 hour after placing your order.  Tips aren’t even expected.  The service is also available on a monthly basis for $14 per month.
–
There’s a Shipt app to download that allows customers to place orders, schedule deliveries, and pay on their smartphone.  You can also order from your desktop computer or tablet by going to Shipt’s website at: www.Shipt.com
Get Paid to Shop
–

Not only is Shipt a great service, it’s a job opportunity, too.  Shipt shoppers average $15-$20 an hour and choose their own flexible work schedule.
Bon Appetit!

Fashionistas, I heard you. Here are some details on Maila, Sasha and Michelle Obama’s Gowns worn at the Canadian State Dinner

Bonjour!
 –
 –
Fashionistas, I heard you.  Here are some details on Malia and Sasha Obama along with Michelle Obama and Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau gowns worn  March 10, 2016 for the Canadian State Dinner
Malia Obama, 17 attends her first State Dinner

Malia turns 18 on July 4, 2016.  She has graduated from high school and has been accepted into Harvard University for next year.  Malia will be taking a year off (called a gap year) to travel and explore.
Sasha Obama, 15 attends her first State Dinner
March 10, 2009

Sasha just celebrated her 15th birthday on June 10, 2016.  Her parents will be staying in the Washington, D.C area for the next 2 years while Sasha completes high school at Sidwell Friends School.

The guiding principle seemed to be “princess moment,” as both girls selected super-romantic gowns from designer Naeem Khan recent collections. Naeem Khan immigrated from India as a teen,  First Lady Michelle Obama wore aNaeem Khan gown to the first 2009 Indian State Dinner.  Malia, 17, chose a simple, sophisticated blush gown with a sweetheart neckline and allover crystal beading,  Sasha, 15, went for something a little bolder, deciding on a beaded lace andappliqué ballgown in shades of cranberry, turquoise, black and beige.

The flower arrangements are made up of orchids,
hydrangeas and amaranth. The design reflects the
scenic beauty of both countries(Canada and the
United States) and the coming of spring.
Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau and Michelle Obama attend the Canadian State Dinner
March 10, 2016

Serendipitously, one of Michelle Obama’s favorite designers, Jason Wu, (Jason Wu designed Michelle Obama’s 2009 and 2013 Inaugural gowns) was raised in Vancouver, so she chose a long, strapless gown with a floral print that he custom-made for the occasion. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s wife Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, meanwhile, opted for a gown by Lucian Matis, a celebrated Toronto-based designer who immigrated to Canada from Romania in 1999. The vibrant purple dress was a colorful counterpart to the sea of black tuxedos, with pink and orange beading, cap sleeves, and a subtle train.
