Hello Everyone:

 –

Nearly four decades is a long time to be hearing the same stuff about being a woman in power. The nauseating proof comes in the form of a new video that was put together by National Memo, a news and politics website, and posted to YouTube on August 4, 2016.

 –

It tracks almost 40 years of Hillary Clinton—as first lady, senator, and presidential candidate—and the sexist ideas about women in public life put to her in numerous media appearances. Some of the interviewers appear to be adopting sexist tropes to humanize Clinton or to highlight inequalities, while other commentators are downright nasty. Together, it plays like a relentless heartbeat of gendered criticism.

 –
and the beat goes on… as the Commander-in-Chief Forum moderatorNBC’s Matt Lauer conveyed by most of the media outlets and public as being sexist in conjunction with the Chairman of the Republican National Committee Reince Priebus remarks that Hillary should have smiled more (can you believe it?).

….e-mail advice from Colin Powell
Well, lookie here. There’s an email from 2009 from Colin Powell to Hillary Clinton, explaining just how he used a “personal computer that was hooked up to a private phone line” to communicate State Department business.  Wasn’t it Colin Powell who just a few weeks ago couldn’t recall what he told Clinton about using email? Yes, it was. Now that House Democrats have released the email with his advice, maybe he’ll be able to remember more clearly.

Camille’s Notes:  Hillary Clinton said Friday that half of Donald Trump’ssupporters were driven by “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic” sentiments.
–
Clinton said in a statement released Saturday afternoon.  “Last night I was ‘grossly generalistic,’ and that’s never a good idea. I regret saying ‘half’ — that was wrong,”
–
As a news commentator stated; “Trump would have gotten away with similar remarks”.

“I don’t know about you; but, November 8th can’t get here quick enough for me”.
