The more information people have about each candidates’ positions, their vision, their competence and last but not least their temperament; the better their selection process will be.

TYT is not your Grandfather’s News Show

The Young Turks (TYT) is an online American liberal/progressive political and social commentary program hosted by Turkish-American Cenk Uygur, J.D. is a political commentator, co-founder and main host TYT,  Armenian-American Ana Kasparian, is a political commentator and film producer and co-host of TYT.The show has an associated network of online shows and is owned by a company of the same name (The Young Turks LLC). TYT was founded in 2002 by Uygur as a talk show on Sirius Satellite Radio.

The show’s name derives from the English-language phrase “Young Turk“, meaning a reformist or rebellious member of an institution, movement, or political party

The Young Turks live streams for two hours every weekday. The first hour focuses on hard politics, foreign policy, and breaking news. It is hosted by CenkUygur,

The second hour provides social commentary on a wide range of topics both domestic and foreign. It is hosted by Ana Kasparian along with Cenk Uygur.

Every Friday, The Young Turks unleashes a two-hour Power Panel show, bringing in guests from the worlds of politics, journalism, pop culture, sports, and comedy. It is led by John Iadarola and Cenk Uygur in the first hour and Ana Kasparian in the second hour.

Note“Salty” language is sometimes used to express some of the views by the commentators.  Even though The Young Turks leans more toward liberal/progressive issues; TYT will “call out” and/or condemn liberal politicians that break the law or display bad behavior, etc.

The Young Turks is “the world’s largest online news show”.  YouTube  video views for the TYT Network stood at a total of 2 billion as of July 2014.

The show offers internet-only video content via their YouTube channel, which in April 2012 averaged 750,000 views a day, and by November 2014 over 1,400,000 views a day  The Young Turks also have a network of other affiliated shows on separate YouTube channels, known collectively as the TYT Network.

¡Hola a todos!
(Hello Everyone!)

In Buenos Aires, the President and First Family will meet with the newArgentine President, Mauricio Macri, to discuss President Macri’s reform agenda and recognize his contributions to the defense of human rights in the region.  The President will deepen efforts to increase cooperation between our governments in a range of areas, including trade and investment, renewable energy and climate change, and citizen security.  It has been nearly two decades since the last bilaterally focused visit by a U.S. President to Argentina, Latin America’s third largest country.

Tango is a dance that has influences from European and African culture.  Dances from the candombe ceremonies of former slave peoples helped shape the modern day Tango. The dance originated in lower-class districts of Buenos Aires and Montevideo.
The music derived from the fusion of various forms of music from Europe.  The word “tango” seems to have first been used in connection with the dance in the 1880s, possibly related to the Latin word “tangere” but more likely related to the African slave word “tango” (drum or dance place).
