The 38th annual Kennedy Center Honors event is one of the highlights of the Washington social calendar, and will be broadcast on the CBS Network on Dec. 29, 2015 at 9pm EST.

First Lady Michelle Obama looked stunning in a Oscar de la Renta gown.  The strapless gown had a voluminous skirt in black tulle. The blue color of the gown added a festive touch to her look. Also, the striking blue color teamed up well with the black skirt.
