Organizing for Action
-Camille –Organizing for Action is looking for talented email writers to join our growing team here in Chicago.

We think you might know someone who’d be a good fit — heck, it might even be you.

Check out our job listing today — and forward it along to anyone who might be interested.

If you know someone who loves to write, has a real passion for progressive issues, and wants to be part of a team that’s inspiring folks across the country to take action, then hit that forward button and let them know we’re hiring.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

– Stellar writing skills. We’re looking for folks who are able to write like people talk, and can do it on a tight deadline.

– Creative thinking. We’re pushing the boundaries of what online organizing and issue advocacy mean in 2013 and beyond. Innovative ideas are welcome.

– Passion for the issues. If you know someone with political or non-profit experience, great. If not, that’s OK, too. What matters most is that our writers care about making progressive change — and that they’re willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

We’re looking for folks of all levels of experience from all kinds of backgrounds. Bonus points go to applicants with a good sense of humor, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to go with the flow.

This is a chance to get in on the ground floor of an organization that, if we do our jobs right, will have a major impact on issue advocacy and American politics for years to come.

Forward this link to anyone who might be a good fit, or get started on your own application today:

“All my life I’ve had to fight…I had to fight the press folks. I had to fight the ratings. I had to fight them haters. Girl child ain’t safe in a world full of cable channels,” said Sofia.

5 Other ‘Scandals’ That Were Suppose To Destroy Obama & A Political Parody Operetta

Hello Everyone:

Detroit’s opera season continues with three more performances of AIDA tonight, tomorrow and a matinee performance on Sunday, May 19th at:  The Detroit Opera House
When I’m asked which opera did I like the best during the 2012-2013 opera season; I my response is One Term More, a 6 minute political parody video below.
While the 2012 Presidential campaign was a a roller coaster ride.  It really was more like a classic political opera with a much happier ending than AIDA.
If you are an opera fan you will love One Term More,.a political parody. If you are not an opera fan; you will enjoy this political parody which is both real and funny.
–
Click on the link below. This operetta is sung in English; however, you can choose with or without subtitles. One Term More is based on the theme from Les Miserables.
The music plays on in the following article: 5 Other ‘Scandals’ That Were Suppose To Destroy Obama
No doubt President Obama has had a tough week dealing with the drama from the the GOP.  We all know by now the GOP  has no intention of giving up their witch hunt.
