Happy Sunday:

Children books are read to the 30,000 children attending the 2013 White House Easter Egg Roll by notables in various age groups and occupations from the youngest actress (Beasts of the Southern Wild) ever nominated for an Academy Award Quvenzhané Wallis, the first woman to lead a race car lap at the 2013 Daytona 500, Danica Patrick to Mrs. Robinson, mother of our first lady and grandmother to first daughters.  National Children’s Book Day was April 2nd..
Below are nine videos with ten children books read by positive role models. I included two prior year’s good reads one from figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi reading her book “Dream Big Little Pig” by Kristi Yamaguchi and the other of a dramatic reading by President Obama of “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Bernard Sendak.
This is a wonderful way to educate, entertain and mentor your children, grandchildren, our town’s children and more importantly the kid in you.  This year’s theme:  Be Healthy, Be Active, Be You!
