Hello Everyone:

When I first saw this photo; I thought I was looking at a photo from the early 1900’s when most men wore hats.

Once I read the info below; I was struck of how this group came together with a unified message for the expectant parents killed in the car accident, their community in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood and a warning to the driver and passenger of the BMW they are searching for.

In this March 3, 2013, photo provided by VosIzNeias.com, Orthodox Jewish mourners gather outside the Congregation Yetev Lev D’Satmar synagogue in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood for the funeral of two expectant parents who were killed in a car accident early Sunday in New York. The baby of Nachman and Raizy Glauber, a boy, was delivered prematurely by cesarean section and survived until the next morning, but died around 5:30 a.m. on Monday, March 4. Police were searching for the driver of a BMW and a passenger who fled on foot after slamming into the livery cab that was transporting the 21-year-old couple to a hospital.   ~Via The National Memo

   Realization:
While not taking away the sadness of this tragic hit and run accident which happens far to often in this country; I would like to expand the unified concept in another area which occurred while seeing the symbolism of the sea of hats which not only identifies the group; but. also represents one force.

If each one of us would make a conscious effort to increase our family’s purchasing dollars by 10% or more within our neighborhoods and/or with businesses that support or give back to our neighborhoods; we would become a unified and more sustainable community.
   YOUR OPINION:
    1.  Do you see the benefit of increasing your family’s purchases in your neighborhood?
    2.  Would you like more information on how you can accomplish this?
