Tuesday, April 10, 2012 is the 5th annual “One Day Without Shoes” event/movement will take place. This creative event was conceived by Blake MyCoskie, founder & chief shoe giver Toms Shoes.  You can make a difference while having fun.

WHAT IS IT?

One Day Without Shoes is the day we raise awareness of the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child’s life by going without shoes.

WHY?

Millions of children live without shoes. Many are exposed to injury and disease each day, and are not allowed to go to school without shoes.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Just take ‘em off, and when people ask why, tell them. Register at OneDayWithoutShoes.com to get updates. Spreading awareness is easy, and changes lives.

LAST YEAR

Last year, 200,000 people went without shoes at over 1,000 events in over 25 countries around the globe.

On April 10, 2012, go without shoes so kids don’t have to.

In the 3 min. video below; experience the power and fun people in a variety of companies and countries fostering awareness.
